The forest of origin was controlled and evaluated independently in accordance with these standards (principles and criteria of good forest management), established and approved by the FOREST STEWARDSHIP COUNCIL A.C.® through the participation and consent of the interested parties.

FSC certification is a credible and transparent tool to guarantee a responsible use of forest resources; FSC certification means choosing to use certified raw materials, whose origin is certain and / or controlled.

The chain of custody certification (COC) guarantees that the wood (and its derivatives such as paper and cellulose), used in the production of a certain product, comes from FSC certified forests.

Many of the major industrial groups, the large-scale retail trade and public administrations select their suppliers based on environmental and social responsibility criteria and recognize FSC as the only credible and reliable certification mark for wood and derived products.

FSC is an independent, non-profit international NGO, which includes environmental and social groups, indigenous communities, forest owners, woodworking and woodworking companies, scientists and technicians working together to improve forest management all over the world.

Companies that choose to apply the FSC logo on their products intend to demonstrate their environmental sensitivity, and in particular their focus on responsible forest management.

The FSC logo, the "written" FSC and the acronym "Forest stewardship council", are owned by the Forest Stewardship Council and are covered by trademark; only companies that have signed the Trademark License Agreement with FSC and have a valid FSC certificate can use it.
